About Posterior Reversible Encephalopathy Syndrome:  Posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome can be just a quickly progressing set of symptoms including seizures, upset vision, headaches and confusion. These signs are the consequence of swelling at the brain chiefly from the occipital lobe (back portion of brain) and the parietal lobe (part of brain above and forwards of cerebral lobe) but it may also affect the regions of the brain. The swelling is because of fluid leaking from capillaries and hypertension, eclampsia, immunosuppressive chemotherapy therapy and organ or bone marrow transplantation can cause this. Treatment involves treating the present symptoms and treating the underlying reason for the swelling.
